"I've been JP Ross's customer for years and paid my premiums faithfully. When I needed him most, he failed me completely.

In March 2026, my neighbor's tree fell through my garage destroying thousands of dollars of my property. I was not at fault - it was 100% the neighbor's fault.

State Farm has denied legitimate claims through bad faith tactics. I asked JP for basic information (the neighbor's insurance carrier) so I could pursue the at-fault party for damages. This is a simple 5-minute request that State Farm already has.

JP ignored my request for over 48 hours. When he finally responded, he refused to provide the information. He claimed he "cannot comment" because I filed a complaint with NY Department of Financial Services and consulted with an attorney.

JP is using my complaint as an excuse NOT to help me. That's not what an insurance agent does. An agent is supposed to advocate FOR their customers, not obstruct them.

I don't have official legal representation - I consulted an attorney for advice but I'm handling this myself. Even if I did have representation, that doesn't eliminate JP's obligation to help me as his insured.

State Farm already has the neighbor's insurance information through their own subrogation attorney. JP could provide this in 5 minutes. Instead, he's making excuses and obstructing me.

I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and NY Department of Financial Services documenting JP's failure to assist. I cannot work without the destroyed equipment. JP won't help me get what I'm entitled to.

An insurance agent's job is to help customers when they have a loss that's not their fault. JP Ross does the opposite - he obstructs, ignores requests, and makes excuses.

I cannot recommend JP Ross Insurance Agency to anyone. When you need help, he won't be there for you."
